Tour Dates: Flogging Molly Green 17 Tour 2012

March must be right around the corner, because not only have the Dropkick Murphys announced dates for their St. Patrick’s Day Tour, but Celtic punks Flogging Molly have now posted the dates for their annual Green 17 Tour.

The band’s annual lead-up to St. Patrick’s Day, the tour kicks off in Detroit on February 17, building up to the yearly tradition of their Arizona St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

Black Joe Louis & The Honeybears and The Devil Makes Three have been announced as support for select dates, with the full run of supporting acts to be announced. No matter who opens, these shows are always a party.

The band has also launched a Flogging Molly App for all you smartphoners, and you can get that at your local app mart.

Free Punk MP3 Download – “Don’t Shut ‘Em Down” by Flogging Molly

Flogging Molly has posted their new single, “Don’t Shut ‘Em Down,” for free download. The song is from their upcoming album, in stores in May.

In February, the band will be setting out on their annual Green 17 tour (tour dates are here) where they’ll be playing classics and tunes from the upcoming record. They’re also going to be on the 2011 Coachella festival (a link to the lineup is here).
