Unfortunately, Urban tragedy is! We intend to spotlight the positive aspects of our inner cities by showcasing the arts, local talent, cultural events, progressive businesses, and more.

    Thank you for your interest in our new television show, “The Urban Evolution,” which serves the City of Trenton, Mercer County, and the wider Delaware Valley.  In season one of “The Urban Evolution” we focus primarily on the city of Trenton, New Jersey by telling the stories of urban artists and performers, and exploring the beauty of urban culture while depicting the many positive aspects of Trenton that are often ignored by the mainstream media. This program also showcases cultural events in Trenton and the surrounding regions, helps search for solutions to the area’s problems, and celebrates the positive distinctions of the region, such as the many progressive-minded businesses, state and local programs for artists, and unique educational opportunities for urban youth.

To ensure that this endeavor grows to its full potential, “The Urban Evolution” is seeking sponsors who are interested in becoming part of this innovative, informative, entertaining, and socially responsible programming.

    “The Urban Evolution” is a weekly Television series that Premiere’s on WMCN Saturday, October 17th at 8 PM and will air at 8 PM every Saturday through December 26th for a 3-month season one debut.  WMCN is a NJ-based Television network that reaches 2.6 million households in the City of Trenton, Mercer County, Bucks County, PA, the city of Philadelphia, eastern PA, The entire NJ shore region from Lakewood to Cape May and much of northern Delaware (please see the enclosed PDF file, “WMCN: Coverage Map”). This coverage reaches a large and greatly varied demographic, from highly affluent households in the Princeton and Upper Bucks County regions, to urban markets in Camden, Philadelphia, and Reading eager to see such content. “The Urban Evolution” production team created four episodes that will be re-run twice for a total of twelve show times over a three-month broadcast season, giving sponsors multiple opportunities for quality exposure.

    “The Urban Evolution” offers a genuine opportunity for a regional business to increase measurably its community relations and make a noticeable difference in the perception of the City of Trenton and other urban areas as well. Just as important, this program will provide new avenues for businesses to become more visible to extensive and varied consumer markets.
